Amandzeba Turned Down Offer as Deputy Tourism Minister

Legendary musician, Amandzeba Nat Brew apparently was offered the post of Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts but he turned it down.

Amandzeba, who has years of experience in  the music and the creative arts industry, said he turned down the offer by President John Dramani Mahama because it would have interfered with his music career.

According to him, "the reason mainly was personal." He said it was practically impossible to handle a ministerial porfolio while remaining active in the music industry.
